I am Lafayette Jefferson "First Edition" Fan. they a very great show this season!!! They won Grand Champion at first two completion this their 3rd. They have lots lights and lots very great things including light cubes I have seen Solon "Music in Motin. they dancing is great. I think First Edition most will do better than the predications. My brother Clark Webb was in First in 1997 and 1998 Eric Van Cleave who one of judges was director of First Edition from 1987-1999. Back then freshman could not be in First Edition. My brother Clark Webb just miss being First Edition in 1996. In 1997 and 1998 First many Grand Champions.
The reason I put Carroll in first is because of their huge podium placement last weekend, beating powerhouses like Brandon, Mt. Zion, and Millard North. I could see Solon taking the win here though with the amazing season that they are having, but Carroll and Solon are definitely the ones to be keeping your eye on. This will be a bloodbath! So excited!
Shout out to you for starting and running such a diligent podcast on show choir around the area. As a parent of a Carroll Magic performer it helps that you give us props so often, but I really enjoy your perspective on all the competitions. You are doing an excellent job! Good luck to you and your group this week at Showfest!
