Lauren Lierman is a 2009 graduate of Waukesha West High School and a 2014 graduate of Carroll University. During those years, Lauren was blessed to study under Thomas Ajack and Thomas Weis, both who continued to shape her love of singing. As she began to teach, Lauren discovered a passion for middle school personalities and show choir.
Lauren started her tenure at Altoona Middle and Intermediate Schools right after her graduation in 2014. There, she teaches 4th and 5th grade general music, 6th grade choir, 7th and 8th grade choir, and "Creative Entertainment." Besides her musical contributions, Lauren has coached Academic Decathlon at Altoona High School.
When not at school, you might find Lauren singing with Schola Cantorum of Eau Claire, on a local community theatre stage, ringing handbells, working on several nonprofit boards, hiking, or crocheting hats for her students. In addition to her many hobbies, Lauren loves to spend time with her husband, Andrew, and her two children, lovingly referred to as "Lizard" and "Chameleon" within earshot of students.
