Graduating from California State University, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor's degree in Music and an emphasis in Music Education, Hollie embarked on her teaching journey with a firm foundation in musical theory and pedagogy. Following her graduation, she pursued her teaching credential while simultaneously sharing her knowledge and love for music at Katella High School.
Beginning her teaching career at Katella High School in 2019, Hollie quickly made a significant impact on the school's choir program. Over the course of three years, she dedicated herself to fostering a culture of musical excellence and collaboration among her students. In 2023, Hollie returned to her alma mater, Cypress High School, where her own passion for music had been ignited years before as a member of the show choir program.
As an alumna of Cypress High School and its esteemed show choir program, Hollie brings a unique perspective and deep understanding of the transformative power of music education. With her unwavering commitment to excellence, she strives to inspire and empower students at every school site she serves, continuously elevating and expanding choir programs to new heights.
